About tinyout
tinyout is a free, always-up-to-date aggregator of kids' activities, from babies to teens, across Greater NYC — classes, workshops, story times, museum programs, outdoor activities, and more, all in one place.
Why we built this
It started with a Sunday morning problem. You want to get the kids out of the apartment — somewhere fun, stimulating, ideally not too far — but figuring out what's actually happening this weekend means opening fifteen tabs, half of which haven't updated since February.
tinyout was built by a New York City parent who got tired of that routine. The idea was simple: one place, automatically kept current, covering everything worth doing with a small kid in the city. No manual curation, no stale listings, no “check back later.” Just what's happening, where, and when.
We pull from 2079 studios, museums, libraries, and cultural institutions across Greater NYC. The data refreshes daily so you're always seeing real, current schedules — not whatever was last manually updated six months ago.

Activities for kids ages 0–18 across all five boroughs, Westchester, northern New Jersey, Long Island, Rockland, Putnam and Fairfield County. Classes, drop-in play, story times, music, art, swimming, gymnastics, science, nature programs, cultural events, and more. Free and paid. Indoor and outdoor. Weekday and weekend.
