Please note that going forward, a valid Westchester Library Card will be needed for registration. We are gathering information to meet the needs of our patrons. Grades K - 6 *We reserve the right to refuse access to any programs for individuals who do not meet the specified age requirement for the program.* This program will meet for 6 weeks: Wednesdays, October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, & 18 PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOUR CHILD CAN ATTEND ALL 6 WEEKS OF THIS PROGRAM. Children that miss two classes without prior notification will be removed from the roster. Join us for Beginner's Chess with John Gallagher to discuss and learn basic chess strategies in an engaging series. Each class will build upon the skills learned in the previous week. Registering for one week of this program automatically enrolls your child in all 6 weeks. Registration is online only and begins Sunday, September 27 at 8am. Registration is required. Each child must be registered separately. Registrations will not be accepted via email.

Monday 4:15PM -5:15PM Fall Session Future Fashion Stars (6 weeks) at Our Studio in Scarsdale, NY (11/09-12/14) Grades: K–5 Does your child have a passion for fashion, love being creative, and enjoy making something amazing? Join us for Future Fashion Stars, a one-of-a-kind fashion design enrichment program created by industry professionals and fashion educators and led by current fashion university students. This season, students will explore the exciting world of fashion, from concept to collection! Working together, they will select a theme, develop their ideas, and bring their unique designs to life through fun, hands-on projects. Students will explore: Fashion illustration and mood boards Color palettes, textiles, and trend spotting Styling, silhouettes, shapes, and proportions Fashion design and creative expression Sustainability and upcycling techniques All materials are included, and students get to keep the designs they create! Wednesday 10:15AM- 11:15AM Fall Session Sensory Art Explorers (4 Weeks) at Our Studio in Scarsdale, NY (11/18-12/09) Join us every Wednesday morning for Sensory Art Explorers, a hands-on experience designed for ages 1.5-4! Each week, we introduce a fun new theme with interactive sensory stations that spark creativity and encourage developmental growth. From squishy textures to colorful crafts, our activities help little ones fine-tune their motor skills, build their speech, and explore the world around them through play. Plus, after all the art and discovery, we end the session with a bounce-filled finale to release any extra energy! Classes last for 60 minutes. Class Dates: - 11/18, 11/25, 12/02 and 12/09.
