A title known the world over, Elf The Musical JR. is a must-produce holiday musical that can easily become an annual tradition for any theatre. Based on the cherished New Line Cinema hit, Elf JR. features songs by Tony Award-nominees, Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, with a book by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. The Post, Sat 11:10am for 3yrs (Experienced)

The Post BK - Field 1 (Indoor) · Greenpoint

This class is for more experienced 3 year old players and you must of completed 2x full terms of soccer with WSC to be eligible. One of the two seasons must of been in a 3 year old class. We will check registrations and email you if you do not meet the requirements. There is no parents on the field in this class! Classes are built around play and games disguising the learning aspect. This format encourages more engagement from the class resulting in better participation. It's our first time playing soccer, what will my soccer star learn? Our coaches will lead them through a series of organized mini games that help to develop listening skills, balance, running, playing as a group, basic ball skills and foot-eye coordination. The activities will also help to teach gross motor skills that are crucial to healthy development and of course include, scoring lots of goals! I've been playing in the 2yr class, what will we learn now? This class will be a continuation of the skills learnt in the 2yr class as repeating the actions is very important to develop technique. You will see more progression in the games and also the introduction of 1v1 games Will they pay attention and be able to do all the drills in the first class? Every single child is different! Typically at this age our soccer players are attending school or daycare and have a better understanding of using their listening ears. Although we don’t expect every single player to be able to focus on their first day, this does get better every week. Once they become accustomed to the routine and our coaches they will pay attention more and more as the weeks progress. We have to remember that listening to a stranger give instructions isn't the norm for them yet and saying you can't use your hands can be even more confusing. Cognitive mental development in 3yr olds Young players at this stage have short attention spans. They are starting to understand visual instructions, but they tend to do better with concrete demonstrations of what they are expected to do. While many are still "parallel playing" an unaware of team dynamics like passing and group movement, they are starting to become aware of one another and the fact that other people have ideas and emotions. Kids at this age are beginning to become more cautious. They understand there are things in the world that can cause pain and they proceed accordingly. They have wonderful imaginations and can be super spontaneous and creative.
