About this event

Chill afterschool with a movie on the big screen! Individually packed snacks and refreshments provided, snacks from home are welcome. Open to all families. Registration recommended, drop-in welcome. For children under the age of 9, a parent/guardian is required to remain in the building for the duration of the film. Thursday, October 8th @ 3:30pm Film: "Minions & Monsters" PG 1hr. 29mins. Join Miss Victoria for storytime and stay for playtime! All children are welcome, suitable for ages 1-3. Registration required online. A parent/guardian is required to remain in the room for the duration of storytime and playtime. Fridays at 10:30am: Sept. 11th, Oct. 2nd, 9th & 23rd, Nov. 6th, & Dec. 11th Registration is required for each class per child. The Children of Emerson have priority to register first. Registration is open now! Registration for Non-Emerson residents opens September 1st. Join the waiting list if fully booked. Please call ahead the day of for space availability. Step into nature. Watch. Learn. Protect. This interactive presentation focuses on twelve birds that are relatively easy to spot in the tri-state area. Participants will learn how to visually identify each bird, then they will listen to the calls or songs of each bird, and then the birds' favorite foods will be discussed. After the presentation, at the Birdseed Bar, participants will use a colorful birdfeeding chart to create a custom seed mix that will attract their favorite birds! Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required per child. Open to Children of Emerson Only, Grades K-5. Please be respectful of the grade requirements. Our Level 3 & 4 gymnastics program is for our most advanced students. This class takes all we’ve learned in levels 1 & 2, and challenges our gymnasts to new heights. If your child feels our level 2 class isn’t advanced enough, check in with their coach to see if they're ready to move up. Having a solid back & front walkovers and a running cartwheel are a must for this class. The Level 4 students must have both their front & back handspring, roundoff, and dive carthweel. Coach approval for this course is required.
