About this event

(Newborns) Just getting comfortable being out of the house and beginning to explore!What to expect in class:You’ll learn a variety of ways to play with your newest little bundle of joy. Non-mobile babies are exposed to sensory play, songs, and the beginnings of social play. Meet like-minded parents while our expert teachers lead you through nurturing exercises and activities that stimulate your baby’s brain development. It’s all about opposites: loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ help your child learn better ways to communicate. We move across the bridge sllowwwly and then fast! Offering pick up from nearby PS 199, students will return to the studio for an engaging program week in and week out. On Fridays from September 18th through December 18th , Miss Grace will lead students for 13 weeks of engaging art projects, yoga and meditation, and time outside ( when possible). Each session is thoughtfully structured to help children unwind from the school day, express themselves creatively, and build focus and confidence in a warm, supportive environment and most importantly, have fun in our beautiful. nearby 72nd street studio! It is a joyful way to end the week with imagination, movement, and community. All supplies are included.

Fridays at Spark are joyful, reflective, and celebratory. This end-of-week program runs for 3 hours and is taught by Miss Grace . She invites children to release the school week through creative exploration, collaborative projects, and mindful movement. She intentionally slow things down while still keeping the energy playful—helping kids leave the week feeling grounded, proud of their work, and connected to their peers.
