MiniKeys is Brooklyn Music Factory's award-winning music program for 4- and 5-year-olds , where young musicians build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music by playing, singing, and creating together as a band. Through original songs, big music games, and hands-on exploration, students develop the essential building blocks of music—including rhythm, melody, ear training, song form, the musical alphabet, and more. Every activity is designed to keep kids engaged while helping them build real musical skills. Each week, students sing, play different instruments, write songs together, and discover how instruments work together to create music. Along the way, they'll strengthen their listening skills, learn to collaborate with others, and experience the excitement of making music as part of a team. Children are encouraged to develop a growth mindset without unnecessary competition. Testing for a new belt level happens 3 times a year.
