ROCK WRITE RECORD (AGES 9–17): RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR JUST $95 TODAY! Ready to take your child's musicianship to the next level? Rock Write Record is BMF's band program for students ages 9–17 who are ready to move beyond the basics and experience what it's like to be part of a real band. Students collaborate with bandmates to learn cover songs, write original music, develop their performance skills, and experience the excitement of creating music together. Led by an experienced Brooklyn Music Factory teacher, each rehearsal focuses on songwriting, arranging, musicianship, and playing as an ensemble. Students strengthen their creativity, musical fluency, and confidence while developing the communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills that make great bands successful. Bands are thoughtfully formed based on each student's age, instrument, and skill level , creating a supportive environment where every musician is challenged, contributes to the group, and grows alongside peers at a similar stage in their musical journey. Throughout the year, bands perform on the BMF stage, giving students the opportunity to share both original songs and cover songs with family, friends, and the BMF community. As students grow, they're encouraged to take greater ownership of the creative process, helping shape their band's unique sound while building skills that last a lifetime. This award-winning, high-energy music class was created by professional dancer Maegan Woodin and professional singer Sarah Post (who are both moms). The class is taught by a Broadway-caliber singer-dancer and is packed full of hit songs from the movie/musical "Wicked", pop songs, and children's classics. After class, stay and enjoy 30 minutes of open play at PlayWell! Giving your little one the chance to climb, explore, and imagine while you meet other families in our community. Brooklyn Builders Studio offers a welcoming space where kids can engage with architecture through sketching, model making, material exploration, and thoughtful design exercises in a screen‑free environment that supports focus, creativity, and confidence. Sessions combine guided instruction with open‑ended making, giving young designers room to experiment while learning real architectural principles. We currently offer pickup from PS 321 Upper School, PS 321 Lower School, PS 32, PS 372, and PS 282.
