If you have a young, reluctant or struggling reader, we want you to meet our therapy dog! She is a non-judgmental listener and furry friend that won’t laugh if your child makes a mistake or stumbles over a word. Children learn to associate reading with being with the dog, and begin to view reading in a positive way. Over time, the child’s reading ability and confidence can improve because they are practicing their skills. Children will each get approximately 15 minutes of reading time with Bubble. Please select which 15 minute slot when registering. Clark residents with library cards have priority registration. All others will be on the pending waitlist until 48 hours before the event if space remains.

No childhood is complete without some good, old-fashioned, messy finger painting. We will read a story and then make some squishy, colorful creations. Wear some old clothes! Exploration Stations is a sensory play program specifically designed for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Themed stations are expertly curated to use a child's senses to learn through imagination and play. Each station is equipped with 2-3 activities to teach children about specific topics. For children ages 18 months through pre-k. Please register. Clark residents with library cards will have priority registration. All others will remain on the pending waitlist until 48 hours before the program, if space remains.

Join us for stories, songs, and rhymes followed by a simple craft. This program is designed for children ages 3 and up. Registration is required. Priority registration for Clark residents with library cards until 48 hours before the event. All others will remain on the pending waitlist until then and automatically moved to registered if space remains.
