We welcome Scarsdale High School junior Estelle Puong to read aloud her debut book, Toby's Lost Bark, followed by an art activity. Brief bio: Estelle is a junior at Scarsdale High School with an interest in child psychology. Drawing from her own experience with selective mutism, I wrote Toby’s Lost Bark to help children understand what selective mutism is, recognize that people communicate in different ways, and develop greater empathy and understanding.
