About this event
Celebrate City of Forest Day with a special 30-minute themed Storytime for families, exploring the importance of seeds, gardening, and most importantly the trees growing right in our neighborhoods! After Storytime, families can take home handmade seed bombs to plant at home, in their gardens, or in local community green spaces. Let’s help our neighborhoods grow—one seed at a time! *Space and materials may be limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At this Freedom to Read Toddler Storytime, we are celebrating every child’s freedom to read by sharing age appropriate picture books that have been banned or challenged around the country. There will be book giveaways of selected banned or challenged titles. We will also be engaging in songs, rhymes, and movement activities inspired by the books being shared. Toddler Time is geared for children ages 18 months to 3 years old but all ages are welcome. *Book giveawys available on a first come, first served basis.
