Climate Future Film Festival

About this event

Join the Pound Ridge Sustainability Committee and the Pound Ridge Library on Sunday, November 15, 2026, for the acclaimed Climate Future Film Series. These short films, suitable for all audiences, from elementary school-age children to adults, explore “our many possible climate futures” through drama, documentary, comedy, and animation. The films bring together stories of hope, grief, resilience, denial, resolve, and imagination from around the world. Following the screening, we will be joined by Senator Pete Harckham, Chairman of the NY State Senate Committee on Environmental Conservation, who will tell us about the efforts by New York to address the climate crisis. After that, audience members are invited to stay for a thoughtful community discussion about the issues raised in the films and the ways we can respond locally, individually, and collectively. This program is an opportunity to reflect, connect, and consider how our communities can continue building a more sustainable future. Register below.
