Sky Village NYC's 21st St. After School Arts Program is exclusively serving students at PS122 in Astoria, NY. It is a unique opportunity for children 5 years and older to take part in a varierty of activities at Sky Village/International Training Center of New York. Inspired by the "Yin Yang Theory" in Chinese Philosophy, we believe that greater physical, mental and emotional balance can be achieved through the practice of various arts forms, sports activities and meditation. We will also engage in a daily 10 minute "mind break" or meditation to help our students calm their nervous systems and steady their focus. We feel confident with our regular after school routine your child will make significant steps towards adopting systems for long lasting happiness and well being. OUR PROGRAM If your child is under the age of 10 years old we will arrange for one of our staff to pick your child up from school and walk directly to ITC /Sky Village for the afterschool program. We will be alternating classes 5 days a week (Soccer/Monday, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Tuesday, Robotics/Wednesday and Thursday, Friday/Funday) in addition to arts and craft activities each week!
