Registration for this program opens at noon the Sunday before the event. PROGRAM TO BE HELD AT THE POUND RIDGE LIBRARY. Get ready for an unforgettable musical adventure! Bring your little ones to the library for a dose of musical enchantment with our Children’s Music with Kurt Gallagher! Delight in the lively tunes, interactive songs, and engaging performances that will have kids tapping their feet and singing along with joy. Join us for a magical morning of music and merriment as our music takes center stage. This dynamic and entertaining show is perfect for kids of all ages, promising laughter, dancing, and a fun-filled musical experience. With captivating melodies and interactive participation, this act captivates young imaginations through the power of music. As part of a new pilot program, your registration reserves a parking space for you until the program begins. Late arrivals will forfeit their parking reservation. Parking permits expire 2 hours from the program start time. By registering, you agree to these terms. Failure to comply may result in loss of eligibility to register for future music programs.

Sensory StorytimeFREE

Sensory Storytime

Registration is not required for this program. Sensory Storytime for children ages 2 thru 6 accompanied by a caregiver. Sensory Storytimes are more interactive and provide built-in time for sensory play, including freedom of movement with more visual aids, gentle action, and sensory experiences. These storytimes are also smaller, reducing the group size and noise level for those with sound sensitivity. This program is inclusive, with interactive opportunities, more playtime, and flexible, joy-filled appreciation of children of all abilities. This event is held in our beautiful Sensory Room, which is located on the lower level of the lobby. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access. Program leader Evelyn Carmichael, a retired special education teacher with a master’s degree in learning disabilities, has curated this storytime and activity program to create an inclusive environment of joy and dignity at Pound Ridge Library.
