This high-energy and playful class introduces budding dancers to the fun of Hip Hop through music, movement, and imagination. Young dancers will explore musicality and rhythm, gain body awareness and coordination, and be given a space to creatively express themselves in an encouraging and imaginative environment. Through upbeat warm ups, creative movement games, across the floor exercises, and age appropriate choreography, dancers will build confidence and foundational dance skills. Dancers should be ready to move, play, explore, and find their groove! - Creative Movement: Dancers are engaged in movement games and activities that encourage the use of imagination, self expression, and playful exploration. - Confidence & Creativity: Choreography challenges dancers to retain information and helps develop their confidence and independence. - Groove & Rhythm: Dancers will develop rhythm and musicality to upbeat and age appropriate Hip Hop and K-pop music. - Dance Foundations: Students will build coordination, balance, body awareness, and movement skills through repetition and the joy of dance.
