Embark on an exciting journey into the world of robotics with our specialized class for children aged 6-7! This program introduces young learners to the fundamentals of robotics in a fun, interactive environment. Through hands-on projects and engaging lessons, students will explore the basics of building and programming robots, setting the foundation for more advanced skills in technology and engineering. In our Robotics class, students will: Build Their First Robots : Learn to assemble robots using kid-friendly kits and tools, understanding the mechanics behind how robots move and operate. Introduction to Programming : Start programming their robots to perform simple tasks, using intuitive, block-based coding languages that are perfect for beginners and kids with Robotics experience. Problem Solving : Tackle challenges that encourage critical thinking and creativity, applying their knowledge to find solutions to real-world problems. Work as a Team : Collaborate with peers to complete projects, enhancing their teamwork and communication skills. Students 7 years old must complete our Intro to Robotics (8-week course) before enrolling Students 6 years old must complete Junior LEGO Robotics Level 1 and be placed into Junior LEGO Robotics Level 2 based on an instructor assessment. *Make-ups and cancelations: For semester registrations only one make-up class per month is allowed with a 24hr cancellation notice. Late cancellation fee: If a client provides less than 24 hours notice and wishes to schedule a makeup class, 50% of the class fee will be charged and processed through their Sawyer account. *Payment Plan: For semester registrations, payments can be paid in full or split into monthly installments.
