We begin each class with music and a seasonal activity to encourage socialization and get kids warmed up. Then, we’ll head into our fenced play space for unstructured play and exploration. Some activities include: mud kitchen obstacle course water play dig areas sensory tables discovery zones and more! Come prepared to get your hands dirty and feet wet! Dress for the weather and in clothes you don't mind your child getting messy in. Some kids get messier than others, so you may want to bring a change of clothes. The ground may be wet and muddy in some spots. Please wear appropriate shoes. Let your child explore, create, and grow — all on their own (with us, of course!). Nature School is a gentle, nature-based introduction to independence, designed especially for ages 2.5–5. Each 2-hour session blends guided group experiences with plenty of child-led outdoor play. Children will enjoy: ✨ Story time rooted in nature & imagination 🎨 Crafts & activities tied to the season 🌱 Nature-based learning & exploration 🎵 Music & movement in the fresh air 🧺 Snack time with friends 🌿 Open-ended play in our fenced play space T his program requires a 6-week commitment to support your child’s sense of rhythm, routine, community, and trust with instructors. If you are unable to attend a specific date, a makeup class can be scheduled at one of our regular classes. Classes will take place in the rain.
