The best hour of your kid's day! Every day after school, Kodely turns a Cleveland classroom into a hands-on studio where PK-4 kids build, invent, and explore — screen-free, indoors and out. One day they're engineering marble runs; the next they're staging a puppet play, mixing lab-safe chemistry, launching a pop-up market, or designing their own board game. Kids leave curious, tired in the best way, and carrying something they made. Kodely's Pokémon Game Design Club turns every Pokémon fan into a real game designer. Each week kids design their own Pokémon-style game on a school iPad or laptop — sketching original characters, naming moves, building stat-driven battles, and coding the rules using kid-friendly visual blocks (MakeCode Arcade). They earn designer badges as their skills grow, playtest each other's worlds, and leave the semester with a finished, shareable game playable at home. Led by trained Kodely instructors who are themselves Pokémon-fluent, the club teaches the foundations of coding, math, storytelling, and design — disguised as the game your kid already loves.
Kodely's Hands-On Chemistry Club is our most-requested program — and the one parents say their kids talk about all weekend. Every Friday is a new experiment: glow sticks they build themselves, slime chemistry, density towers, crystal gardens, elephant toothpaste, and a real take-home reaction kit. We teach chemistry the way kids actually love it — predict it, mix it, react, explain. All materials are nut-free, allergy-aware, and school-safe, and every session includes a "lab notebook" entry kids take home. The semester ends with a science-fair-style finale where every young chemist presents their favorite reaction to families.
Students learn to listen to a real heartbeat, splint a fractured paw, close a surgical incision on a training simulator, and read an actual x-ray to find the fracture, the swallowed sock, the thing nobody else spotted. Over 12 weeks, your vet-in-training will: • Take vitals and detect heart murmurs with pediatric-grade stethoscopes • Master splinting, wound care, and suturing on veterinary simulators • Diagnose from real x-rays — fractures, foreign objects, and mystery cases • Build a hardcover Case-File Journal documenting every patient they treat

Sky Village NYC After School Arts Program is a unique opportunity for children 4 to 8 years old to take part in weekly martial arts classes at Queens Jiu-jitsu (22-55 31st St.) and ARTS and cooking classes at Sky Village NYC! (23-05 29th St.). Inspired by the "Yin Yang Theory" in Chinese Philosophy, we believe that greater physical, mental and emotional balance can be achieved through the practice of various art forms, proper nutrition and meditation. Our children's program at our 29th St. location will largely focus on visual arts with the option to join Jiu-jitsu classes at Queens Jiu-jitsu. We will also engage in a daily 10 minute "mind break" or meditation 2- 3 times a week to help our students calm their nervous systems and steady their focus. Children should demonstrate an aptitude for drawing and painting to participate. Art methods that we will focus on include Origami, mosaic tiling/perler beading, print making, 3D drawing, painting and sewing . We feel confident with our regular after school routine your child will adopt systems for long lasting happiness and wellbeing. OUR PROGRAM Thursdays now include a 45 minutes of cooking class with nutritional information to emphasis our focus on health and wellness at Sky Village NYC. You are being charged a flat fee per week, so please take advantage of these holidays. Our parents will NOT be charged for Winter Break, Mid Winter Break or Spring Break unless registered for those camps which will be priced at $575 (8am-3pm). Sky Village NYC will be CLOSED on the following public school holidays: Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving Christmas, and the day after Christmas New Years Day, the day after New Years Day Memorial Day If any of these holidays fall on a weekend we will also be closed for: First Day of Passover Good Friday Sky Village has set expenses for each location based on attendance, consequently we do not offer refunds for personal sick days, vacation days, or “snow days”. Sky Village NYC's 21st St. After School Arts Program is exclusively serving students at PS122 in Astoria, NY. It is a unique opportunity for children 5 years and older to take part in a varierty of activities at Sky Village/International Training Center of New York. Inspired by the "Yin Yang Theory" in Chinese Philosophy, we believe that greater physical, mental and emotional balance can be achieved through the practice of various arts forms, sports activities and meditation. We will also engage in a daily 10 minute "mind break" or meditation to help our students calm their nervous systems and steady their focus. We feel confident with our regular after school routine your child will make significant steps towards adopting systems for long lasting happiness and well being. OUR PROGRAM If your child is under the age of 10 years old we will arrange for one of our staff to pick your child up from school and walk directly to ITC /Sky Village for the afterschool program. We will be alternating classes 5 days a week (Soccer/Monday, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Tuesday, Robotics/Wednesday and Thursday, Friday/Funday) in addition to arts and craft activities each week!
