Baby Lapsit Storytime

Wed, Sep 16 · 10:30 AM

NYPL Inwood Library–Joseph and Sheila Rosenblatt Building

Join us for a special time to bond with your little one and meet other caregivers. We will explore the joys of movement, books, and songs, in addition to building early learning skills you can practice at home. Come prepared to sit with your child on your lap. For children who are pre-walkers or crawlers. Space is limited to 10 babies. Tickets will be available at the youth desk starting at 10 AM! Please arrive on time. The doors will close once the program begins. This week our Lapsit Storytime is part of Library Open House Week. We'll give away Early Literacy Tote Bags. They include an Indestructibles bilingual book: Baby loves the library. Al bebé le enccanta la biblioteca by Grace Habib (2025). Indestructibles are books built for the way babies “read”: with their hands and mouths. Chew-proof, rip-proof, and drool-proof, they’re printed on a unique 100% nontoxic, paperlike material that holds up to anything babies can throw at it—gumming, spilling, dragging across the floor. If Indestructibles get dirty, just wash them off.
