Expanded Fractions and Introduction to Ratios : Students delve deeper into understanding fractions and are introduced to the concept of ratios. Geometry : Students cover a wide range of geometric concepts, including properties of angles, parallelograms, triangles, and circles. Measurement : Students explore measurement in greater depth, including the calculations of area, perimeter, and volume. Data Analysis and Probability : The curriculum introduces data interpretation in more depth and the fundamental concepts of probability. Application of Concepts through Word Problems : Central to both Singaporean and Russian methodologies is the application of mathematical concepts through word problems. Throughout the CAM program, students regularly engage with word problems that require the application of their growing knowledge base.
