About this event

After School Clubhouse is a warm, nurturing environment with high-quality care, where children from Pre-K to Grade 5 can enjoy creative play, art, a snack, and dedicated time for homework and reading. The Clubhouse is organized into small groups, allowing kids to play and socialize with peers of their own age. Children get to enjoy our beautiful classrooms and even explore our rooftop playground for some physical activity. If your child is also registered for JCC after-school classes, our counselors will escort them to and from their programs around the building. We currently offer pickup service from the following schools: PS 9, PS 87, PS 199, PS 334, Calhoun School, Manhattan Day School, Parkside School, Success Academy UWS, and The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School @ the JC The program runs from Monday to Thursday, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, from September to June. Our full-year rate reflects a $200 discount.

Tiny toes, big twirls, and lots of ballet fun! This sweet and playful class introduces little dancers to the magic of ballet through music, imagination, and movement. Dancers will learn beginner ballet positions, practice pointed toes and graceful arms, and explore twirls, jumps, and beautiful ballet shapes. Along the way, they’ll build balance, coordination, musicality, and confidence while letting their personalities shine! No prior dance experience necessary! Caregivers: Caregivers are welcome to join us in the studio for the first 5 minutes to help little dancers get settled. After that, dancers will continue class independently while caregivers watch from the lobby on our live viewing screen.
