Program Details Whether causing scarves to vanish to the netherworld, levitating items from the local deli, or performing miracles with bubbles, coins, and cards, Myron will perform a show full of humor and wonder. Sky Village NYC's 21st St. After School Arts Program is exclusively serving students at PS122 in Astoria, NY. It is a unique opportunity for children 5 years and older to take part in a varierty of activities at Sky Village/International Training Center of New York. Inspired by the "Yin Yang Theory" in Chinese Philosophy, we believe that greater physical, mental and emotional balance can be achieved through the practice of various arts forms, sports activities and meditation. We will also engage in a daily 10 minute "mind break" or meditation to help our students calm their nervous systems and steady their focus. We feel confident with our regular after school routine your child will make significant steps towards adopting systems for long lasting happiness and well being. OUR PROGRAM If your child is under the age of 10 years old we will arrange for one of our staff to pick your child up from school and walk directly to ITC /Sky Village for the afterschool program. We will be alternating classes 5 days a week (Soccer/Monday, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Tuesday, Robotics/Wednesday and Thursday, Friday/Funday) in addition to arts and craft activities each week! A sample of our weekly schedule is listed below. If you are registered for our After School Arts Program your child will have priority for childcare on these days. You are being charged a flat fee per week, so please take advantage of these holidays. Our parents will NOT be charged for Winter Break, Mid Winter Break or Spring Break unless registered for those camps which will be priced at $575 (8am-3pm). Sky Village NYC will be CLOSED on the following public school holidays: Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving Christmas, and the day after Christmas New Years Day, the day after New Years Day Memorial Day If any of these holidays fall on a weekend we will also be closed for: First Day of Passover Good Friday Sky Village has set expenses for each location based on attendance, consequently we do not offer refunds for personal sick days, vacation days, or “snow days”. On days when public school buildings are closed due to an emergency, all students and families should plan on staying home.
