Lego robotics, using Lego Spike Prime kits, students will make different robots out of legos. Using drag and drop coding they can program the robots to move, make sound, change colors and more. Code with Minecraft! Using the Education edition of Minecraft, kids will learn core coding concepts, including sequencing, variables, functions, loops, and if/then conditionals. Age ranges are approximate. If you are unsure which class would be best for your child, please feel free to reach out to us at info@penguincodingschool.com and we would be happy to help. *Note the Sawyer booking fee is only applied once at check out, it is not charged each month Schedule The academic year runs from Monday 9/14/26-Friday 6/25/27. There are a total of 36 class sessions for each day of the week during the year. Classes run once a week. Students can take back to back classes to extend their time. There is no class on the following dates: Thanksgiving Break - Mon 11/23-Sun 11/29 Winter Break - Mon 12/21-Fri 1/1 February Break - Sat 2/13-Fri 2/19 Spring Break (MA only) - Sat 4/17-Fri 4/23 Spring Break (Brooklyn only) - Sat 4/24-Fri 4/30 All other dates we will hold class during the academic year Payment Payment is monthly and is evenly distributed over 10 months, for a total of 36 classes during the year. 1 hour classes are $195 per month and 1.5 hour classes are $270 per month Payment will be charged automatically on the first of each month Cancellation You can stop classes at any time, but we require at least 30 days notice in order to stop the monthly payment i.e. if you want to cancel starting in November you would need to let us know by October 1st for us to cancel the recurring payments If you need to switch times during the year, let us know at info@penguincodingschool.com and we can work out another time Levels We will move classes up to the appropriate level during the year i.e. if a student begins in Beginner Python after a few months when the class is ready we will move them up to Intermediate Python without you needing to switch days or times. After School Pick Up (Brooklyn only) We offer pick up from the following schools for our 3:00pm Cobble Hill classes and 3:30 pm Park Slope classes Park Slope: PS 10, 107, and 321 Upper School Cobble Hill: PS 29, 32, 38, 58, and 261 We pick up at dismissal time and walk the kids back to Penguin where they have time to eat a snack, if they have one, and have structured free time before class begins. Pick up is $50 per month. Pick up fees will be charged to the card on file on the first of the month each month We are only able to pick up from a limited number of schools each day due to our small staff, please email info@penguincodingschool.com to inquire about availability and register for pick up

Follow on class to Python Beginner. Learn the fundamentals of computer science with Python. Gently guides beginners to understanding code. Covers the following topics: 1) Review of Conditionals & Loops 2) Introduction of Data Structures: Lists 3) Using Loops to iterate Lists 4) Introduction of Python Turtle (Graphics) 5) Final Project: Using Conditionals & Loops in Turtle Age ranges are approximate. My First Art Class is an exploratory art experience for babies and toddlers! This introductory art class allows children to engage in art the way that makes the most sense to them, by playing! In this exciting class students will have a chance to work with their peers to create a themed mini musical inspired by favorite stories and their imagination! Students will develop a script, work on ensemble skills, and learn choreography in an exciting, imaginative environment. This class will cultivate collaboration skills, and confidence in creativity. The session ends in a small showcase performance for their families. No reading or writing skills necessary. Looking for an engaging, convenient, safe, and creative option for your kiddo in the neighborhood with school pick up options? Seek no further, because Treasure Trunk has you covered! With options Monday through Friday, your child will be safely walked from their school (drop-off options also available, if preferred!) and welcomed into a world of imagination and dramatic play, led by our talented teaching artists who are both theatrical and childcare professionals. TIMING: All days run 3:00-5:00pm, with an optional extended day from 5:00-6:00pm Please Note: Students registered for Extended Day at Brooklyn Brainery will be walked to TT Prospect Heights (700 Washington Ave) for the 5-6pm portion of the day. OUTLINE OF THE DAY: Kiddos will be walked from their school to our studio, if optional school pick up has been purchased. We will then have a snack time followed by quiet coloring and homework help (if needed). Students will then dive into their focus for the day with our specialized and engaging theatrical class. From crafting their very own props and costume pieces in our Monday class, to learning beloved musical theater songs on Tuesdays, to bringing storybooks to life on Wednesdays, to creating their very own mini musical on Thursdays, to improvising new adventures each week on Fridays - there is something for every kiddo here at Treasure Trunk. With every curriculum and focus, our program fosters a love of self expression, connectivity and confidence. Whether your child is running for center stage or is a little bit shy in the spotlight, our teaching artists create an individualized approach for engaging every kiddo in a unique and authentic way. NOTE ON PICK UPS: Pick up is only available for students registering for the full session. For instance, you must be signed up for ALL or ALL REMAINING Monday classes (or any other day) to be eligible for pick up. Drop ins are not eligible for school pick up. You DO NOT need to be registered for all days Mon through Fri to receive pick up. Once registered, you will be contacted with forms to fill out regarding your child's pick up details. This process art class encourages students to take joy in the process of creating and allows them to "color outside the lines."
