About this event

Join us for a morning of walking & conversation in the spring sunshine! We meet at 10 am in the playground at Oceanside Park. After taking a walk, we'll head back to the playground so littles ones can play while grown ups chat. Series dates: May 4, 18 & June 1, 15, 29 Registration is required. This program involves lots of movement, so make sure to bring a water bottle and wear sneakers. Registration is required. Join Registered Dietitians Carlye and Camille from Sweet Nutrition NYC for a fun, hands-on food exploration experience! Children will build their own rainbow yogurt parfait while learning how to become "Food Explorers" by looking at, touching, smelling, and tasting a variety of colorful fruits and toppings. Through playful, pressure-free food exploration, kids can discover new foods and build confidence trying something different. Who knows? Your child may surprise you and come home loving a healthy food they never thought they'd try! *Food allergy warning- this program includes foods that may not suit all dietary restrictions, including wheat and dairy.
