This program will be held in person at the Huguenot Park Library. Children and their families are invited to “ARRRGH” slapstick comedy show featuring pirate brothers Pufferfish Pete and Crabby Chris. Join them on a piratical voyage filled with utter silliness, sea shanties, and sass. “Sea Shanties and Silliness – A Pirate Magic Comedy Show” is a hilarious and interactive family-friendly show featuring two bumbling pirate brothers, Pufferfish Pete and Crabby Chris. The show takes the audience on a swashbuckling journey through the high seas as the brothers search for the missing treasure of Captain Pasta The Skunk, encountering all sorts of wacky characters and dangerous sea creatures along the way. Space is limited. First come, first served. Presented by Pete and Chris Amusements.

This event is in person. This event is every Wednesday in October. Do you want to learn how to play the Pokémon trading card game? Join us, as we go over the mechanics of such things as how to understand the Pokémon card and the power that's inside! How to build a Pokémon deck with the cards you have at home! How to battle with Pokémon cards and what it takes to win a trainer battle! Here at the Huguenot Park library is where you will want to be! As we host matches with Pokémon Decks made available to each Trainer after the information/learning portion, that wants to try their hand at a Pokémon battle!( Please feel free to bring cards to modify the available decks!)

Join us after Storytime and play with our toys at a Little Movers Open Play! Celebrate the power of play and community connection—all while having fun! Designed for new walkers/ toddlers or children at this developmental stage and their caregivers, this program invites little movers to explore toys and active play activities while practicing early literacy skills. Come make new friends while your little one discovers the joy of learning through play! Please note: Each child must be supervised by one adult at all times. To keep this program safe and engaging for our active guests, we are unable to accommodate schools, daycares, or other groups. Space is limited. First come, first served.
