16 Tuesdays: Sep 15, 2026- Jan 12, 2027 [Except 12/22. 12/29] In Person. Explore pottery making in the JCC Manhattan's fully-equipped ceramics studio. With guidance from experienced instructors and access to high-quality tools and materials, children will learn handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab building. After their pieces are fired in the kiln, they will carve, paint, and glaze, adding their unique artistic touch. This hands-on pottery class fosters creativity, skill-building, and self-expression in a supportive environment.

16 Tuesdays: Sep 15, 2026- Jan 12, 2027 [Except 12/22, 12/29] In Person. In this ballet class, dancers build upon foundational ballet concepts, enhancing their musicality and technical skills. Students will broaden their ballet vocabulary and learn new choreography, center combinations, and across-the-floor movements. Taught by wonderful JCC Manhattan instructors in our newly renovated studio, our ballet classes are open to all and foster confidence, coordination, and creativity. It empowers young dancers to express themselves individually while advancing their abilities.

16 Tuesdays: Sep 15, 2026- Jan 12, 2027 [Except 12/22, 12/29] In Person. Introduce your child to martial arts with our Little Samurais class, designed for children ages 4 to 6. Through playful activities and age-appropriate exercises, children learn basic martial arts movements and calisthenics techniques tailored to their developmental stage. Participants enhance coordination, balance, and motor skills and practice important values such as respect, patience, focus, and self-discipline. This class takes place in a safe and supportive environment, guided by 4th-degree black belt Mark Tome. Registration also includes a new gi (martial arts uniform for students).

Students are introduced to the basics of building and simple machines through hands-on LEGO® projects in partnership with RoboFun. Using age-appropriate materials, children explore how gears and motors create movement while developing fine motor skills, early problem-solving strategies, and confidence in a supportive, playful environment. Through guided exploration and imaginative building, students begin to understand foundational STEM concepts?no prior experience needed.
