About this event

In this class, kids will dive right into creating a short film! Weekend Workshops run for three consecutive Saturdays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. 1st Saturday: Intro to storytelling, screenwriting and acting games. 2nd Saturday: Production. 3rd Saturday: Intro to editing and post-production. At the end of the session, students will have a collaborative movie to share with friends and family!

After School Clubhouse is a warm, nurturing environment with high-quality care, where children from Pre-K to Grade 5 can enjoy creative play, art, a snack, and dedicated time for homework and reading. The Clubhouse is organized into small groups, allowing kids to play and socialize with peers of their own age. Children get to enjoy our beautiful classrooms and even explore our rooftop playground for some physical activity. If your child is also registered for JCC after-school classes, our counselors will escort them to and from their programs around the building. The program runs from Monday to Thursday, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, from September to June. Our full-year rate reflects a $200 discount. This option does not include school pickup. Children can be dropped off at the JCC beginning at 2:30 pm.
