For older children and young adults, ages 11-17, still in high school. Our Pre-Teen & Teen Program is an excellent way to develop physical competence and strength while giving pre-teens and teenagers a strong sense of self-worth and accomplishment. Each class includes a warm-up, strength session, workout, and cool-down/debrief. Classes are led by experienced coaches trained to work with youth athletes. All fitness levels are welcome. Workouts are adaptable to the novice athlete as well as the expert. Our Tween Art Studio is designed for passionate young artists who are excited to expand their art practice, learn advanced techniques and try new things. During this series, students will explore a wide range of bookbinding and bookmaking techniques while building their confidence and creative skills. Projects include junk journals, sketchbooks making, mini folding zines, altered book sculptures, accordion-style folding books, and tie and sewn binding methods. Each child will leave with a variety of project and a whole new set of skills!
