Are you ready to be a hero? Come sing, dance, and act out Greek myths with us as you find your place in the stars! Students will be introduced to key skills in collaboration and self expression, building confidence and strengthening social emotional learning skills...all through the fun of musical theatre! The session will end with a short performance for families to enjoy. Looking for an engaging, convenient, safe, and creative option for your kiddo in the neighborhood with school pick up options? Seek no further, because Treasure Trunk has you covered! With options Monday through Friday, your child will be safely walked from their school (drop-off options also available, if preferred!) and welcomed into a world of imagination and dramatic play, led by our talented teaching artists who are both theatrical and childcare professionals. TIMING: All days run 3:00-5:00pm, with an optional extended day from 5:00-6:00pm Please Note: Students registered for Extended Day at Brooklyn Brainery will be walked to TT Prospect Heights (700 Washington Ave) for the 5-6pm portion of the day. OUTLINE OF THE DAY: Kiddos will be walked from their school to our studio, if optional school pick up has been purchased. We will then have a snack time followed by quiet coloring and homework help (if needed). Students will then dive into their focus for the day with our specialized and engaging theatrical class. With every curriculum and focus, our program fosters a love of self expression, connectivity and confidence. Whether your child is running for center stage or is a little bit shy in the spotlight, our teaching artists create an individualized approach for engaging every kiddo in a unique and authentic way. NOTE ON PICK UPS: Pick up is only available for students registering for the full session. For instance, you must be signed up for ALL or ALL REMAINING Monday classes (or any other day) to be eligible for pick up. Drop ins are not eligible for school pick up. You DO NOT need to be registered for all days Mon through Fri to receive pick up. Once registered, you will be contacted with forms to fill out regarding your child's pick up details. To arrange a pick up, your child must be registered at least one week in advance. Please let us know if you have any questions at all!

We're thrilled to present: Finding Nemo Jr. ! This program invites kids to join a professional-style production, experiencing the excitement of rehearsing and performing a beloved classic while staying true to Treasure Trunk’s core values: focusing on the joy of the process, creativity, and teamwork. The semester culminates with a full-scale performance at the beloved Gallery Players Theater in Park Slope. The production team for our musicals is comprised of theatre professionals including a talented directorial team, professional stage manager, costume and lighting designers, and more. Kiddos will receive a fully professional experience, singing, acting, and dancing on an Off Broadway stage in Brooklyn for family, friends, and neighborhood families. In Finding Nemo , children will not only learn the ins and outs of putting on a full show but also the invaluable skills of collaboration, storytelling, and sharing their work with a live audience. Whether they're ready to sing front and center or excited to try something new while bringing scenes to life from the ensemble, there’s a meaningful role for everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity for young actors to build confidence, embrace teamwork, and enjoy the experience of bringing a story to life for family and friends. Auditions: All registered students receive a role! Audition materials are taught on the first day of class and auditions are held in a supportive way, teaching the process of auditioning for a show. Auditions will include learning a short part of a song, dance combination, and reading from a scene (no reading skills required). * Children must turn 6 by the end of Jan. 2027 to enroll * Select one of four rehearsal days (please visit the associated registration page for your desired day/location): - Mondays* 3:30-5:30pm at Atlantic - Tuesdays* 3:30-5:30pm at Atlantic - Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm - Sundays 2:30-4:30pm at Park Slope *Monday & Tuesday rehearsals have the option for school pick up from any walkable school with at least two kids participating. Singing, dancing, crafting and more! We invite families to join us in this class for our younger adventurers that combines all of our favorite creative mediums - theatre, music, AND art. In this parent/caregiver accompanied class, children will begin the day with engaging warm-up songs to get their bodies, voices and imaginations ready to soar. Then, we will open our magical treasure trunk to reveal themed prop and costume items that spark an exciting adventure, leading us to our art project of the day. Families will row, row, row our boats into the ocean to make an under the sea creation, or head to Old McDonald’s Farm to get artsy with the animals! This class will not only have your little one singing, dancing and exploring with friends to spark their social emotional learning skills, but they will also leave class with a cute art project. We invite you and your child to join our energetic and engaging teaching artists to dance, sing and travel to exciting new places on an action-packed, magical, musical adventure! Each week, we open the magical treasure trunk and focus on a new theme that will spark our journey and songs for the day. Led by live accompaniment, we will row our boats down the stream, twinkle like a little star, visit Old MacDonald's farm, and more. This class focuses on engaging our youngest adventurers through music and movement, and begins to introduce the building blocks of social-emotional learning and empathetic connection through theatrical play, and interaction with new places and characters each week.

At Open Studio kids can explore their creativity in a relaxed, self-guided environment. With rotating art stations, children can experiment with painting, sculpting, crafting, and more—allowing them to dive into fun, hands-on projects at their own pace. It’s the perfect way for kids to unwind and let their imagination run wild. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Rikud School’s Closed Camp is a movement-filled day rooted in creativity, culture, and play. Campers spend the day dancing, creating, exploring the neighborhood, and building community in a relaxed, high-energy environment led by working artists and educators. While each camp day has its own theme and agenda, a typical day may include: • Welcome circle + community check-in • Dance Class #1 (hip-hop, breaking, house, movement games, etc.) • Snack break • Outdoor local adventure (playground, backyard, neighborhood exploration, water play, etc.) • Lunch (packed from home or provided for an extra charge) • Dance Class #2, craft project, or cultural activity • Choice time with music, games, freestyle movement, drawing, reading, and collaborative play Rikud camps are intentionally designed to balance structure and freedom. Kids move their bodies, make friends, learn dance styles rooted in street and club culture, and spend meaningful time both indoors and outside. Rikud School’s Littles Camp is a movement-filled day rooted in creativity, culture, and play. Campers spend the day dancing, creating, and playing led by working artists and educators. Creative Movement & Dance Our signature Littles movement class, toddler yoga, imaginative dance, music and rhythm activities, obstacle courses, and movement games designed to build coordination, confidence, creativity, and body awareness. Morning Snack Outdoor Exploration Backyard play featuring bubbles, chalk, water play (weather permitting), nature exploration, sensory activities, gross motor games, and open-ended play. Lunch (packed from home) Rest & Quiet Time A calm period with books, soft music, dimmed lights, and cozy rest mats to help children recharge. Guided Arts & Creative Exploration Process-based art projects using paint, collage, clay, drawing, printmaking, sensory materials, and other age-appropriate mediums that encourage creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression. Afternoon Snack Choice Time Children are invited to explore music, instruments, dramatic play, blocks, sensory bins, drawing, books, collaborative games, and freestyle movement while teachers support independent play and social development. Closing Circle & Pick-Up Storytime, songs, reflection on the day’s adventures, and a calm transition home.
