About this event

Let’s create together! People of all ages and abilities are welcome to come to the library and enjoy a fun and creative activity, or feel free to choose a quiet game, coloring or a puzzle! Please be sure to read the descriptions to decide if the activity is right for you! October 1- Air Dry Clay: Come try pottery (with no wheel or kiln required)! We will use air dry clay to create a small clay creation. Make a mini bowl, trinket dish or choose your own adventure. Clay and tools provided. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! October 8- Wood Pumpkin Ornament: Paint a wooden pumpkin ornament to celebrate Autumn! This program is intended for individuals with developmental disabilities & caregivers. All abilities & ages are welcome to come enjoy these library activities! PLEASE NOTE: This program takes place on the library's second floor.

Drop in for a music-filled library celebration! Join us in the children’s room for fun activities for families with kids of all ages. 10:30 - 11:30am: Make a musical instrument to take home. We’ll use recycled materials to make shakers, castanets, and even string instruments. Best for toddlers and preschoolers. 12 - 1:30pm: Personalized keychains. Make a personalized, beaded keychain for your library card so you never lose track of it. Best for children in grades K+.
