Kids' Events in Bedford Hills

About kids' events in Bedford Hills

Bedford Hills sits in the northern part of Westchester, and with a toddler in tow, the pace here is low-key. The real anchor is the Bedford Hills Free Library, which runs the bulk of what we have listed: nine storytimes, plus art and science sessions. Most mornings you will find “Little Sprouts Storytime (Babies & Toddlers)” on the calendar, and the library branch itself is an easy destination for a short outing. A couple of playgrounds are within a short walk of the main streets, and county park fields are a quick drive for open running space. Music & Arts has a studio nearby for drop-in instrument exposure, and there are also a few theater and sports offerings spread through the month. Getting around means driving, realistically. Parking is rarely a problem at libraries or strip-mall studios, and Metro-North serves nearby stations if you want a car-free trip into the city, but for daily errands the car wins. It is a small, quiet place, and the library is the reliable heartbeat for toddler plans.
