About kids' events in Piermont
Piermont sits right on the Hudson, a narrow riverside village where streets end at the water. A morning out with a toddler here means a short walk to a couple of playgrounds, the local library branch, and the few blocks of shops and cafes. The library runs storytime on our calendar, and Peace in Piermont handles art classes plus a camp program called Camp PiP, with most sessions suited to the preschool set. Our listings show nine storytimes and five art events in the mix, with a handful of outdoor options and a couple of museum days. Getting here is car-first. You will drive, park on a side street or in a small lot, and walk. The Mario Cuomo Bridge brings Westchester families over, and NJ Transit rail lines run south to Hoboken, but buses are infrequent. For a 1 to 4 year old, the appeal is the contained scale: the library, a patch of green, and a place to get a snack. The town rec department and library system carry most free toddler programming, so check their bulletin boards when you are in the village.
