Kids' Events in Scarsdale

About kids' events in Scarsdale

Getting out of the house in Scarsdale means short drives or walks to a few playgrounds and green spaces, plus the Scarsdale Public Library, which anchors a lot of the local toddler scene. The library runs storytimes regularly, and you will see those listed here often. Music and movement classes show up too, largely at Hoff-Barthelson Music School, which has a strong lineup for little ones. A local nature center also appears on the calendar, with animal programs like “Animals of the Americas / Animales de las Américas” that mix Spanish and English, plus author visits such as the one with Tracey West. You will mostly drive, but parking is usually easy at these venues, and Metro-North’s Harlem Line runs through town if you want a train day into Manhattan. The Bee-Line buses cover local routes, though with a toddler you will likely just load the car. Right now there are 37 events on the calendar, weighted toward storytime, with art, sensory play, yoga, and language classes filling out the mix. A typical week might mean one morning at the library and one music class. That is your rhythm here.
