Getting out of the house in Mount Kisco with a toddler is mostly about short car hops and knowing which indoor spots open their doors early. That means a rainy morning can be solved by one building, with no backup plan needed. Expect to drive between errands and activities, since sidewalks cover the center but not every block. Parking is usually easy at strip plazas, and the Metro-North station sits right in the village if you want to skip driving into Manhattan for a day trip.
