Kids' Events in Windsor Terrace

About kids' events in Windsor Terrace

A quiet, mostly residential corner of Brooklyn, Windsor Terrace sits right along the southwest edge of Prospect Park. The Prospect Park entrances on this side are noticeably less crowded than those in Park Slope, which makes a real difference when you're pushing a stroller or wrangling a toddler on a Sunday morning. The Vanderbilt playground, along Prospect Park Southwest, has a sandbox and tire swings with areas suited to babies and small kids. Seeley Park, a smaller neighborhood spot, has a playground and shaded benches a short walk from the main streets. The Windsor Terrace branch of Brooklyn Public Library is a genuine local anchor for this age group, with regular storytimes and a kids' area that's often full of toddlers. The F and G trains run through the neighborhood, and the blocks themselves are low-traffic and easy to get around on foot. Studios like Willow Nest Studio and Space Station Prospect run classes here, and NYC Parks has a consistent presence in the calendar too. The pace is slower than neighboring Park Slope, the streets are tree-lined and easy to navigate, and there are 33 upcoming events on this page alone.
