Getting out with a small kid in Yonkers mostly means leaning on the public library and the county parks. The three Yonkers Public Library branches, Crestwood, Grinton I. Will, and Riverfront, anchor a solid rotation of storytimes and free play sessions. You can hit a morning storytime, then drive a short way to Tibbetts Brook Park for a run around before lunch. Sensory Haven runs movement and sensory classes, so there is a real indoor option when the weather turns.
