Kids' Events in Bronxville

About kids' events in Bronxville

Getting out of the house in Bronxville with a toddler means short walks to a couple of playgrounds and the local library branch, which is the main hub for young kids here. The library runs nearly everything on our calendar right now, and it shows in the mix. Storytimes are the backbone, with four upcoming sessions, but there is also a dance class, a music class, a movement class, a science workshop, and a show. One example is “STEM: Electro-mechanical Engineering + Art Workshop,” which gives you a sense that the library is not just about reading aloud, it is also about hands-on building for little ones. Driving is the usual way to get around Westchester, and parking near the library is straightforward, though you will want to allow a few extra minutes to find a spot on busy mornings. Metro-North runs into Manhattan if you want to plan a bigger outing, but for a quick morning activity, most parents stay local. With 11 events listed, there is something happening most weeks, and the library keeps the schedule steady enough to make it a regular part of your routine.
