Kids' Events in Pleasantville

About kids' events in Pleasantville

You can get out of the house here without overthinking it. A couple of playgrounds sit within a short walk of the train station, and the local library branch runs storytime on a regular schedule. That library is one of the busiest spots for toddlers, with 14 storytime events on the calendar right now. Music lessons at JLC Music+Wellness Studio and Pleasantville Academy of Music cover the 12 music listings, while Addie-tude Cultural Arts Center and Super Awesome Artland! handle the art and dance classes. Arc Stages adds the occasional show. Most of the 97 upcoming events land in the default category, which usually means open play or drop-in sessions, so a slow morning can turn into an activity without much planning. Driving is the main way around Westchester, and Pleasantville has parking near the shops and the Metro-North station. The Harlem Line runs south to the city, and Bee-Line buses connect nearby villages, but with a small kid you will likely buckle them into a car seat and keep a stroller in the trunk. That works fine.
