Bee Tutored's Ascent Course is ideal for the rising 8th grader. Ascent is a “practice forward” course that places emphasis on iterative practice and vetted strategy as a means of achieving optimal SHSAT success. Course curriculum includes a unique combination of test-taking strategies such as time management, elimination techniques/answer traps, targeted practice with new exam-related topics, steps to breaking down challenging problems and techniques to reduce test anxiety. Embedded in this course is personalized, differentiated strategy building that optimizes performance for every Bee Tutored student. The course extension includes: 6, 3 hour classes, for a total of 18 hours comprehensive lessons + guided practice provided by Bee Tutored’s experienced SHSAT instructors.
