Wild Roots Explorers - North Shore · West Brighton
We begin each class with music and a seasonal activity to encourage socialization and get kids warmed up. Then, we’ll head into our fenced play space for unstructured play and exploration. Some activities include: mud kitchen obstacle course water play dig areas sensory tables discovery zones and more! Come prepared to get your hands dirty and feet wet! Dress for the weather and in clothes you don't mind your child getting messy in. Some kids get messier than others, so you may want to bring a change of clothes. The ground may be wet and muddy in some spots. Please wear appropriate shoes. Classes take place year-round and in all weather, rain, snow, or sun, as long as the “RealFeel” or “Feels Like” temperature is between ~15 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Each week, children investigate topics like gardening, wildlife, composting, pollinators, and seasonal changes while building practical outdoor skills through exploration, experimentation, and collaborative projects. Inspired by forest school principles, this class combines guided experiences with child-led exploration, encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, teamwork, and confidence. Children deserve time to run, climb, build, create, and let their imaginations lead the way. Adventure Crew gives kids the freedom to release their energy, embrace healthy challenges, and form meaningful friendships through real-life experiences — away from screens and surrounded by nature . Designed for curious kids who love to ask questions and get their hands dirty, Adventure Crew combines nature education with child-led discovery .
