About this event

This lapsit story time for infants who are not yet crawling or walking features songs, readings, and rhymes! Babies/toddlers who are crawling or walking should only register for Toddler Times. Only lapsit babies will be admitted into this program. Walking and crawling babies will NOT be admitted. Thank you for your cooperation. Join us for story time! We will be singing songs, learning rhymes, and reading books together. Grownups, please read! Space is limited and registration is required. NEW: Registration opens 48HR before the program. There is no waitlist for the program. There are two program time options so that more people can attend the program. Please only sign up for ONE program per week. Please check in at the programming room door when you arrive. The storytime room will open 5 minutes before the program begins. If your child is antsy or crying, you are welcome to take a break and return to the program room when your child has calmed down. Please be courteous to others in the class, participate in the songs and rhymes, and keep conversation to a minimum. There is a ten minute grace period and then no late comers will be permitted.

Join Adams Street Library once a month for an offsite Nature Storytime held at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s Education Center ! Pre-schoolers and their caregivers are invited to develop early literacy skills while also learning about nature through play, songs, rhymes, and stories. *Pick up option available for PS20 Students* Our after-school soccer program is designed to help players learn the game, master the ball and increase their skills by playing in a fun learning environment. Players will work on basic motor skills to increase control of their bodies and the values of hard work, perseverance, discipline and teamwork while playing with their friends and class mates! Classes are held in the school yard. Kids should wear indoor soccer shoes or sneakers since we play on cement ground. No cleats. Important details: Our coaches will pick up the students during school dismissal from PS. 20 at 2:30-2:40pm and take them to play soccer on the handball courts on PS. 20's school yard (on Adelphi between Dekalb & Willoughby avenue) Pick up is at 4:30pm at the handball courts. Kids need to bring a ball, a snack and water bottle to each class. *In order for our coaches to pick up your child, fill out the form that you will receive via email.
