Join us for the cutest Halloween class in town. Put on a costume (if you dare) and get ready for 45-minutes and singing and dancing to all of our favorite Halloween classics. Our award-winning class is cleverly designed to strategically encourage baby and toddler milestones through music. Every class includes music, dance, puppets, story time, a sprinkle of sign language and is taught by a professional singer-dancer. Stay after class to take photos in your costumes! ***for outdoor classes- bring a blanket to sit on and make sure you dress appropriately/warmly***

If this spot is not available (if it is closed, sprinklers are running, or construction is loud), we meet on the north side of E. 87th street, by the bathrooms. Please bring something to sit on. Bottles and nut free liquids are ok, but all other food (including baby food and snacks) must be consumed outside of the building. A La Mode is a very small space. We ask that there is only one adult per child. On occassion, you're welcome to bring a second adult, but any additonal adults will have to sit outside the room if there isn't space. We also ask that you keep talking down during class to help the little ears in the room from becoming overwhelmed. Thank you for your help! Little Movers is 45 minutes of climbing, crawling, cruising and giggling — a grown-up-and-me class built for the stage when everything is brand new and everything is worth trying. Your little one builds strength, balance, coordination and body awareness. You get a front-row seat. Here's how it goes: Open Floor. Doors open and so does the room. Props are set out in little worlds to discover, and your child gets to arrive at their own pace — no rush, no pressure. Hype Up. Circle time! We sing every child's name, wake up our bodies from fingers to toes, and get the wiggles going. Zing! Time. The skill of the day. Squatting down and standing back up. Reaching, carrying, climbing up and turning around to come back down. We'll show you exactly how to support your child through each one. Zing! Zone. Tunnels, ramps, tires and soft obstacle courses sized for little bodies. No lines, no waiting, no taking turns — everyone explores at their own speed while we circulate and cheer. Zinger! The big finish. Parachute, music, and a bubble dance party. Cool Down. Stretch, snuggle, one quiet song, and out the door with a very happy, very tired toddler. We have shoe coverings if you'd rather keep yours on. Nut-free snacks are welcome on the table side of the room — just not on the fitness floor.
