About this event

Welcome to Baby Lapsit! Enjoy songs, fingerplays, movement, and simple stories with your young one and introduce them to the wonderful world of the library! Our Baby Lapsit program is intended for babies that are not yet walking (prewalkers), with a parent or other caregiver. Please check in at the desk upon arrival. Due to the nature of this program space is limited for a more intimate learning experience. ***The first 15min will be time for play and socialization for the moms and babies. To get early access to all the Library's Children's programs and events, sign up here for Children's email newsletters.

Paint an adorable smiling axolotl in Kawaii style with Pop up Art School. During the class you'll view pictures of axolotls and learn fun facts. Ages 8-12 For programs that are 30 minutes on length, a 10 minute grace period will be given, and for programs that are 45-60 minutes in the length, a 15 minute grace period will be given. To not disturb the program, there is no admittance after the grace period.
