Jam Band 101 is a fun, creative class where kids ages 6–8 learn the fundamentals of music by playing, creating, and performing together. Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the first time or already has 1–2 years of private lessons or band experience, Jam Band 101 meets them where they are and helps them grow. Each week, students sing, play keyboard, guitar, and drums , write original songs, and play musical games that build rhythm, listening skills, creativity, and confidence. By exploring every instrument in the band, kids gain a strong musical foundation while discovering how each instrument works together to create great music. At Brooklyn Music Factory, we believe the best way to learn music is by making music. Led by an experienced BMF teacher, every class is packed with collaboration, creativity, and encouragement in a welcoming environment where every child can succeed.
