About this event

Teen volunteers will read banned picture books to the kids of the Westbury Children’s Library in honor of Banned Book Week. For children in PreK to 2nd grade. Voluntarios adolescentes tendrán un tiempo de cuentos donde leerán cuentos que fueron censurados en honor de la Semana de los Libros Censurados. Para niños de PreK a 2º grado.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual storytime! We’ll read books in Spanish and English and make a Mexican stamped bowl. This activity requires two sessions to complete. Registration includes both dates. Dress for a mess. For children in PreK to 3rd grade. ¡Celebra el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con un tiempo de cuentos bilingües! Leeremos libros en español e inglés y haremos un cuenco mexicano decorado con sellos. Esta actividad requiere dos sesiones para completar; la registración incluye ambas fechas.
