Our after-school soccer program is designed to help players learn the game, master the ball and increase their skills by playing in a fun learning environment. Players will also work on basic motor skills to increase control of their bodies and the values of hard work, perseverance, discipline and teamwork while playing with their friends and class mates! At Artshack, we believe art is an important tool for self-expression, problem-solving, and growth. This season, young artists will explore the world of clay, learning hand-building, the pottery wheel, and various tools. Alongside their clay work, they’ll engage in drawing, drafting, and sketching: essential practices that help children develop their ideas, refine compositions, and expand their creative thinking. Our teaching artists will guide students through a wide range of mixed-media techniques, including printmaking, felting, and sculpture. Each project encourages process-based art-making, where children experiment, make discoveries, and build confidence in their creative abilities.
