Book Buddies is a fun program that brings together high school students with children ages 4-8 for a monthly reading time. Whether the high schooler reads to their buddy or listens as their little buddy reads aloud, each session will be filled with stories, connections, and fun. Please register so we can assign your child to a high school volunteer. We will be meeting in the reading nook when the library opens at 9:30 until 10:15.

Join us for a Minecraft activity designed for kids in grades 1-5! This class will be taught by Arrayscape Gaming in the Westfield Memorial Library Makerspace. Embark on a dinosaur safari around the volcano, searching for three hidden keys to unlock cave entrances and discover larger fossils. Fly around to observe dinosaurs in their natural habitats, and let your imagination run wild as you build your own dinosaur. Craft detailed habitats that include all the essentials for your prehistoric friends! Computers/devices will be provided for the duration of the class.

Join us for Little Chefs: 6-week class session! This session runs from 10/1 – 11/5 on Thursdays from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. We’ve partnered with Sweet ‘N Fancy for our weekly Little Chefs class program. Each class includes a 30-minute class followed by 1 hour of Open Play. Classes run in 6-week program consisting of 1 class per week for 6 consecutive weeks.
