Our Baobab Participation Agreement and Waiver Form Little Makers Music Circle is a joyful caregiver-child class that blends sensory open play, global songs, song circle, movement, storytelling, and a curated art activity. Each class begins with open-ended sensory play, giving children time to explore, settle in, and connect at their own pace. Families then come together for a global song circle with music, rhythm, movement, and simple songs from around the world. The class ends with a hands-on craft or art activity adapted by age, so each child can participate in a way that feels developmentally appropriate, creative, and fun. This class supports creativity, fine motor skills, confidence, listening, social-emotional development, and caregiver-child connection. It is playful, welcoming, and designed for young children to learn through music, making, movement, and community.

Tue Dance Explorers After-school Program at Urbane Arts Club (5-10 yr olds) - School Year 2026-2027

Adventure into Dance —exploring style and culture, refining movement fundamentals, experimenting with choreography, and designing sets and props for community performances throughout the year. Each unit opens a new chapter in dance— Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theater, Creative Dance, Contemporary, and World Dance —where students gain new skills, build greater confidence, and develop their creative voice. Our Dance Explorers program began at PS 889 and expanded to an off-site location at Urbane Arts Club, which allows us to open it up to kids from schools including PS 130 and PS 139. Pick-ups for these schools require a minimum of 3 registered students. Please reach out if you know there's sufficient interest. Monthly payment packages are available, but reflect a full financial commitment to the period for which your dancer is registered. They are not pay-as-you-go packages. Sample Schedule: Dismissal - 3:00pm Snack and change into dance clothes 3:00-3:20pm Intro to Style & Culture through Film Study 3:20-4:10pm Warm-up & Choreography Group 1/Design Group 2 4:10-5:00pm Design Group 1/Warm-up & Choreography Group 2 5:00-5:15pm Wrap Meeting & Clean-up TUITION: Inclusive of 1 teacher per group, materials fee, community performance opportunities (not to include stage shows like Nutcracker or Masters of Style).
