About this event

Be the boss of your own city! Build homes, parks, and shops - and make smart choices to help your city grow and keep people happy. Led by Harrison High School junior Zachary Fischman, this fun, hands-on workshop lets you play, plan, and see how your decisions shape a city. For grades 5–6 Limited to 10 participants – registration required. Bring your own device. Library will provide a laptop, if needed.

Join us for a Dark Age Viking game as we re-fight the Battle of Stamford Bridge! Fought on September 25, 1066, this battle marked the final victory of the Saxons over the Vikings and the end of the Viking Era. Each player in the game will get a hero to use! This program is in partnership with HMGS and is open to patrons aged 10-120.
