About this event
Create your own Venetian mask using pre-made papier-mâché. These beautiful works of art have been a treasured tradition in Venice, Italy, for centuries, especially during the famous Carnival of Venice. Supplies will be provided. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who will be expected to participate in the program. Ages 6 to 12. Registration required. Presented in partnership with UNICO National.

Enjoy musical performances by singer Valentina Etchebest of Argentina, musician Clodomiro Falcón of Venezuela, singer-songwriter Jei Santander of Colombia, the INTEMPO Youth Choir and the musical ensemble featuring Ecuadorian composer, pianist, accordionist, arranger and orchestrator Paco Godoy, David Durrell on bass and Walter Custodio on percussion. This concert will be performed to honor the victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. All ages. Refreshments will be served. Presented in partnership with En Vivo con Maricarmen, Stamford Arts & Culture Commission, the Mayor’s Multicultural Council, La Voz Hispana de Connecticut, Stamford's Committee for Peace and Ladi’s Beauty Salon with support from the International Alliance of VIP Chaplains and Miss Guatemala CT.
