Please join us at a reception for Sara Kaplan's amazing portraits. Sara Kaplan has been an architect, crossword puzzle constructor, stay-at-home mom, and prolific doodler. In 2018, she started painting. "Mostly portraits. I am interested in capturing psychological depth as well as exploring the ability of paint to capture different types of light. The subjects you see here are all friends and family, or myself. I am available for commissions, and the prices of the pieces hanging in the show are available upon request." Art exhibit in the lower level gallery show is open during regular library hours. No registration necessary.

Tinkercad Club

Students in Grades 3-5 are invited to learn the basics of Tinkercad and an introduction to 3D printing. Each session will introduce a design and then students will have time to free build. Designs will be printed after the program, and you will be emailed with more information regarding when to pick it up from the library. This program is funded by the Lewis Fund and the Friends of the Ridgefield Library. Due to the nature of this program and popularity, we cannot accept late arrivals after 4:35pm. At this point your registration will be granted to the next present patron on the waitlist.
